Red Wing Safety Site

The Red Wing Safety site serves both domestic and international industries needing to purchase comfortable yet durable work boots. The site allows users to browse footwear, compare multiple boots side by side, and find a Red Wing Shoes distributor in the area. Site users can also apply a very robust set of filters to the product list, paring it down by the exact footwear properties, technologies, and safety standards required for their workforce. Products can then be saved to multiple wish lists and managed for future review and purchasing decisions. All of the product data on the site is pulled in from a custom data management system. Products are maintained in the data management system by Red Wing administrators and consumed by the Safety website. The Safety site content is also managed through the Ratchet CMS.

The mobile application uses the same database, business objects, search queries and Web servers as the main site and is able to support major mobile platforms.

International Trucks Kiosk Wheel Stand

Navistar/International trucks needed a way to provide detailed information about their vehicles at trade and truck shows around the country. Ratchet designed a system that allows content administrators to configure and create touch screen kiosk software for individual shows and vehicles. Vistors of the kiosk can enter their contact information or swipe a card to request further detail about a vehicle they are looking at.
