The Thymes needed an update. Their selection of bath and body products and gifts were widely successful, however, their online customer base needed a boost. The old system was difficult to navigate and did not store any user or payment account information. Ratchet was hired to develop a new solution that was easy to maintain and pleasing to the online shopper.

The Thymes new component content management system was integrated with their existing ERP solution. The integration design offers increased safeguards by storing the orders before sending them over for processing. If for some reason the ERP system is unavailable, no orders will be lost and the e-commerce site will remain functional.

On the business side, content owners are able to make changes as needed. The changes are automatically moved to a staging environment for quality analysis and approval, and then updates are published to the live site without any required down time.
