At our core, we build Digital Marketing tools.

We have the experience needed to architect, build and implement scalable, integrated applications and the insight to identify when we’ve engineered enough.

We build web applications that can tap into your existing data and systems to further leverage what you already know and can be tapped into to feed your mobile and social tools.

Navistar Integrated Platform

A picture says a thousand words, or in Navistar's case, thousands of lines of code. We manage Navistar's enterprise CMS platform, based on Vignette, and continually evolve the platform to deliver a scalable and integrated experience. From tying into their existing systems that house enterprise data on parts and services, to building and deploying external partner / dealer sites, to driving sales on the web and via apps - we really are in it for the long haul.

Tablespoon Application

The best systems are not those that are written from the ground up, they are systems where we connect the dots to form a greater whole. Systems composed of proven components, internal applications, and 3rd party services. When we were asked to build Tablespoon, the client had a list of existing services and systems that they wanted us to leverage. A systems integration project has a unique set of challenges, where dealing with SLAs and planning for failure are more critical than ever. Since then, the original set of 3rd party functionality upon which the site was built has changed completely, more than once. With new and better services available, we are constantly adapting the site to take advantage of the cutting edge and to meet the needs of their consumer base.

SelectAccount

SelectAccount, the medical banking division of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota, engaged Ratchet to lead  Discovery, Definition & Development of their public and portal sites. Partnering with Catchfire for brand identity and creative leadership, our foundational work culminated in a Phase1 release of a new public site in November 2010. The site unveiled their refreshed brand and was built upon the Ratchet CMS. Our phased approach allowed us to adapt to their evolving business needs and incorporate new ideas along the way.
Within months of the public site release, Ratchet built a secure client portal and delivered an in-context administration to SelectAccount allowing them to seamlessly update content and send global & account-specific messages to their clients via the Ratchet CMS. The portal supports three distinct classes of user and allows data for new members and new health plans to be safely passed between the portal and SelectAccount internal databases.
